Popcorn Maker Supplies Print E-mail
Thursday, 22 March 2007

If you want to be a professional popcorn maker or just have a need for large batches of popcorn, you will need many popcorn makers’ supplies. While you can get most of these popcorn makers supplies at your local grocery store, buying them in bulk at wholesale clubs or direct from manufacturers can save you a lot of time and effort, not to mention money!

If you are in the market for popcorn makers supplies you should be aware of the variety of choices that you have. First, the most important thing is the popcorn kernels themselves. You have a variety of choices when it comes to the kernels. The most popular are white, yellow and gourmet popcorn, though the new hybrid popcorn is also gaining in popularity.

Most people like toppings on their popcorn, so when buying popcorn makers supplies you must ensure you get plenty of these crowd pleasers. The most popular by far is butter and salt. You can use real butter or the cheaper butter-flavored oil that most are used to in the movie theaters. But lots of gourmet popcorn toppers have become all the rage lately and someone shopping for popcorn maker’s supplies must get plenty of these. They can range from yellow or white cheese to ranch, jalapeno salt, caramel, sugar, cinnamon and other tasty toppers that add variety and taste.

Of course, any popcorn makers supply list must include something to put the popcorn in. While some will choose clear plastic bags, others use white paper bags. Still others may use the buckets that you are familiar with from the movie theater. If you want a retro look, you can always go for the white and red iconic box with the close top.

You must also not forget to get cleaners for your popping machines (and cart if you have one) on your popcorn makers supplies list.  As you can see, there is a whole lot more to making popcorn than meets the eye!
